The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has come out and said "there is no reason to be alarmed" what with 7 people dead and 48 people wounded, plus the 22 people that lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bomb attack, is he for real or what? Are we taking this seriously or what?

12 have been arrested in a flat in a Barking raid, goes to question that how the hell did we not know they were living amongst us. Security comes in to question again?

Khan is correct. I live in the area and travel through it regularly but I am not going to be alarmed or cowed by it. I may give up a silent prayer for the victims as I walk past the scene but it wont stop me doing what I need to do.

"In a sense of no need to panic" Yes! but in a way of saying "we just going to let this slip and do nothing about it and let these innoncent lives lost being put in vain" No! We will stand up to terrorism at all costs we will fight them to the very end we will not let them in and attack again.

What I found wrong in the Mayor's statement is that he says London is the safest global city in the world.
He obviously hasn't been to Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and a host of others.

Try as I might I can find no evidence that Khan ever said your second quote. If he did then he should be thrown out of office. Where did you see this quote or did you just make it up??

Im sorry - your use of quotation marks must have lead me to believe it was a quote for some strange reason.

I am not used to you having an opiniom so you may understand my confusion.

I actually like Sadiq. Hope he leads Labour1 day. But he let slip a one with those remarks and is being slammed left right and centre on social media.
