    So now it starts

Barriers have been put up on three major London bridges to prevent similar attacks to Saturday on London bridge

What happens - whingeing cyclists complain that it makes the cycle lanes narrower and so less safe. Selfish *******s - maybe if you rode more sensibly and obey traffic lights and the highway code that would help too.

They could ignore bridges and just mount pavements. But I suppose it's impossible to stop these kind of attacks on ordinary life and the ordinary routines of the public. Even in NY an SUV ploughed into people at a busy intersection. It wasn't terrorism but just shows how easy it is.

That person who plowed his vehicle in NY was DUI and didn't know what the hell he was doing and lost control of his vehicle. With these barricades in place, it doesn't just stop terrorists from plowing into pedestrians, it also stops reckless drivers on the roads.

Why thank you for stating the obvious. But what has this gotta to do with what I was telling Roger?

"What has this got to do with what I was telling Roger" You mentioned the NY incident with the vehicle plowing into pedestrians, so I was linking mine to your statement.

I see. However I was talking of how easy it is to avoid barriers on bridges and just attack pedestrians on any pavement or intersection, since it's quite impossible to place barriers everywhere. I didn't doubt the ability of barriers to protect pedestrians from terrorists or drink drivers.
So why you had butt in by stating something so obvious but irrelevant, is another example of your inability to understand something a little beyond obvious. Go watch more self help videos on youtube please.
    You're welcome
