    Sweden Football Club

Hey Swedie mate, that was a great win for your 'home' nation tonight against the always over-rated France team.
Your team are on top of the group now with 4 games left, but I still think your lot and the over rated France should watch out for Holland!!
We know what Holland are capable of, so dont take it for granted yet eh, and bollards to the French.

Hi Acido mate, a great and a bit unexpected win, though not undeserved. At a pub now, still celebrating :-) Nothing decided yet of course, the first two places will go to 2 out of 3 of Sweden, France and the Netherlands.

What a finish that was for us and the Scotch, but apart from those last 6 minutes it was a dull match.
Slovakia & Slovenia have both gained 2 points on us with their wins today.

Just following up this thread, its crunch time next week as all the Euro qualifying groups will be completed, and we'll know who is off to the world cup, and who is in the 2 legged play offs, and who will be sat at home next summer twiddling their thumbs when the world cup kicks off!.

We/England have had a fairly easy group again no doubt, and although thats not our fault and we can only beat what is put before us, we should beat Slovenia at home and finally clinch top spot before we have to finish off away to Lithuania. Its really up for grabs behind us though with Slovakia, Slovenia, and Scotchland all scrapping for 2nd place.
And what about Sweden, they are 2nd again now that France have swapped places with them, and with Holland and Bulgaria almost in with a chance, the Swedes face the same Luxembourg team who France could only draw 0-0 with!.

Well, expecting a home win vs Luxembourg, which could, if other results go our way, make the (difficult) game vs the Netherlands away uninteresting and the Netherlands unable to catch us, and Sweden finishing as # 2 in the group. Getting to # 1 is maybe a bit too much to hope for, but not impossible!
