If you have A Muslim friend, doesn't she have an issue with you implying that she doesn't care about humans,implying a generally barbaric approach to others in your comparison to animal slaughter?? If you have Muslim friends don't they have an issue with the fact you don't like religion and want us to move as as far from all religious practice as possible in the future? I agree by the way, I'm just curious if you have had this conversation with them and what they think about it?

Here's the crux of it though Ellis, just like your explanations of extremism in the koran, you take it to the Nth degree, which, while that may well be what it says 'on the tin', doesn't ever, ever mean what actually happens in reality, and you can't distnguish between the two, you need to learn the difference.

But halal slaughter DOES happen without stunning in our country..... And I would hazard a guess that lots of us have eaten that meat without knowing.

Correct, but you've already had some facts given you, this link gives a general ercentage of 84% halal is stunned before slaughter, not perfect but much higher than you want everyone to believe...

Where have I ever given any kind of figure or tried to convince people the figures given are wrong? Whether it's 1% 10% or 16%, it's too high.

My argument about halal has always been what halal slaughter is supposed to be - the slaughter without stunning. I've never given a toss about whether the people of any religion want to say a few words before the slaughter, and I made that quite clear. Absolutely nothing to do with an Islamic connection.

The halal meat thing is far more than some Subyways selling it, I am more concerned about it being forced into schools and hospitals. And I am saying that along with numerous other things that are happening are the things that will lead to a civil war - the main one being letting so many Muslims into the country. Once the population rises, more things are proven to happen.

I can swear on my own life, I have never marched for Tommy, the EDL, animal rights, or absolutely ANYTHING. I was due to go to the Manchester march, but couldn't make it as something came up. I have never attended a march, protest or anything of that sort in my whole life. I probably will march in the future though. I'll be sure to let you know when I do.

And although I love animals, I love humans much, much more. So funnily enough terrorism ranks above animal cruelty in importance to me. Although I did once raise money for an animal charity when at school, so I guess you could argue I have done more for animals than against terrorists.

Going back to the subject of where the apologists on here do the terrorist's propaganda for them when they go on about our foreign policy and saying that is invading Islamic countries is the main reason for the terrorism we are now suffering here.....

What about what is going on in the Philippines? What about all the insurgents in the south of Thailand and the murder of Buddhist monks? What about the kidnapping, rape and murder of so many innocent women and girls in Nigeria by Boko Haram? Were all those invading Muslim countries? You do these people a great disservice when you make excuses for the terrorists, and as I said, you do their dirty propaganda for them.
