    I think that Goalkeepers and shocking refereeing aside, the competition has been quite entertaining and England are hot favourites to win it now.

    Yes fairly entertaining but so is watching the dog and duck on the local rec.

    The hype though is absolutely amazing.

    If anybody on here is expecting typical female goalkeepers to be six-foot-seven and built like "brick outhouses" , forget it! They obviously are not going to have the same reach and physical presence as a male keeper - it's not a shock...

    (GOT CUT OFF)

    I did notice tonight though , that the England sub keeper could comfortably hit goalkicks well into the opposition half AND keep the ball on the pitch ... unlike ours!

    There are women basketball players though and they're pretty tall, and high jumpers, also tall.
