I agree Manx but they will be in bottom half probably just below us!!
Compared to what will be needed to challenge this year we were bereft of skill, class, energy, incisiveness, creativity and bite up front. I hope I'm wrong and it was early season blues but I'm not convinced!!

I don't think you are wrong mate. GK and back 4 I am comfortable with but any injuries and I think we lack quality depth.

Huddleston is only cert for a midfield shirt and I'm unconvinced up top even this early.

Martin is a good player but if we rely on his style we are one dimensional and predictable ...again!

Vydra looked useful and I have faith in GR

We need a Dwight Gayle type, someone who would thrive off Martin

Especially for such a grudge match

Average at best I would have taken a point before kickoff The balance still not right in midfield think we really need someone in with nthe same football brain as Huddleston he's three moves ahead of the rest Thought Keogh and Wisdom were very good I really wanted Weimann to play well but once again he failed Martin was awful Think we've got to get Vydra in somehow he's a class act Would like to thank Sky Bet for the free drink nice touch

    Agree with all that mista.
Positives...Keogh's effort and determination, new signings all looked good...particularly Huddlestone and Wisdom, great to see Forsyth back (really hope he can stay fit), fitness levels in last twenty minutes looked good, Carson looks to be starting where he left off...confident and organised, Vydra looked quick and 'hungry' to prove himself, new away kit looks decent, Gary Rowett sounds impressive and talks infinitely more sense than McClaren who just waffled on meaninglessly - and complacently - imo.
Negatives...still really short in midfield...Butterfield and Johnson so frustrating, nothing out wide...JR looks like a 'world beater for 5% of the match and a headless chicken for the other 95% and finally, a message to Martin...there's a proper footballer in there so stop throwing yourself to the ground and clutching your ear, ankle, knee, arse...whatever. Sure, you're going to get kicked sometimes...but about all you managed last night was to reinforce your reputation as a big man who goes down far too easily. With a full season ahead that really isn't going to help.

Taking o a couple of mates who went we were completely taken out of our stride by their early 'get in their faces and put plenty of high balls in the box' tactics. Improved in second half but only when Vydra came on did we got a grip. Weimann wasted his chance and Martin a wimp and tosser!!

Don't hold back mac...you're not a fan of CM then?
Quote of the night from Sky last night...'you wouldn't want Richard Keogh peering through the window when you're watching a scary film'.
