As for...'haven't you normally won the league by now'...what are you on? Everybody knows...Derby and Forest fans alike...that invariably Forest start better than Derby. We are notoriously slow starters and then, usually by mid to late October, we start to ease ahead and away from you.
If you want a sensible discussion...I have my concerns this season. You have a much more competent owner than you've had for a while and the best manager I can remember you lot having too, so I think there are grounds for optimism as far as Forest are concerned. For us yesterday was a worry. Not because we lost but because we were outclassed. Much, much too early to start judging Rowett, but the summer activity has been disappointing imo. Of the names we've been linked with I'd love Che Adams but we're certainly...again only my opinion...short of a midfield 'general' and a decent creative wide man. I'm not sure I share Romanis' optimism about Tuesday, but I'd love him to be right.

I'm sorry you appear to have been scarred for life because someone spat at you thirty five years ago...must have been awful...have you tried counselling?
The bit about promotion being inevitable by the end of August seems unlikely on so many levels...not least because none of us can remember the last time we made a decent start to the season...but as ever...never let the truth get in the way of one of Tricky's tales.

The thing is with barnsley and us.. is that barnsley will give 100 percent for the cause, whereas we wont and thats the difference between playoffs and bottom half in this league imo. Barnsley will beat us through sheer effort alone,, and that for me is disgraceful.

And by the way, speaking of packing it in after just 2 games... remember back in 2006-07 (we'd just come back up to this division under Andy Ritchie), Sunderland appointed Niall Quinn to run the team and I think they lost their first 4 games. And what happened to them, yes they won promotion. And speaking of the geordies, Newcastle also lost their first 2 last season, and ended up as Champions lol.

I have no beef with you Acido, you are a fair and decent poster.
I am in fact more annoyed with Romanis, who seems to think that spitting at people is funny and apt.
I would love this whole subject to be buried in the past, but there is a hard core(many who we'rent even there), that drags it up time and again.
On a personal front, as an apprentice, I wasn't allowed to strike, yet got spat on and threatened with violence.
It seems the same mentality has never gone away, as Corbyns idiots show us.
Some of these people may be your family and friends. If they are, I pity you.
