typical building standard nowadays , just plonk the corners on top of the entrances.

not that I would imagine this is what it will look like in actuality.
According to the plans, the supporters bar is in one of the corners.
IIRC, the police control centre is in another

    I'm not fully agreed.http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/f...assed-10994616
Of course you want the best facilities possible. If we could transfer Carrington to Aberdeen we would still be at best 2nd. Would the quality of player improve. It's not a given. I can't think of many that have left the state of the art facilities at Lennoxtown or Murray Park who have radically improved and went to the top level. I believe you need a certain calibre of player for the high end facilities. They shouldn't be dodging dog sh1t at the public park, but is Seaton, Bridge of Don really such an impediment.

    No I do not.

But -£20M (or so) from sale of Pittodrie and thats a massive hole on top of what has to be raised for the new stadium. And then you need to find, what, 5-10M to just buy up the various areas of land around Pittodrie? And we havent even started improving/building the new stadium in place of Pittodrie yet.

Sorry, but unless someone comes in and gifts the club a staggering sum of money "for the hell of it" the only financially viable option is a new stadium.

Unless someone on here is minted?

Nah get them stuck in one of the corners or at the end of one of the side stands (nae behind the linesman).

Behind the goals for home fans only - one end for Ultra types and one end for proper mannies standing and moaning.

Crowd Source Funding. AFC should be starting on this already.

If two loons from Fraserburgh can raise millions, many times over for construction of a brewery in Ellon, then surely we can raise a few pounds for project Aurora doing the same.

We can just chip in for a tandem bike Mondo
Hare you getting on with yer bike, Paccers, min?

On Kingsford, transport is the elephant in the room (other racist expressions with the same meaning can be sourced from certain Conservative MPs). Any city centre-Kingsford shuttle bus will have those larcenous ****ers at First Bus rubbing their pick-pocketing mitts in glee.

Like predicted for Loirston before it, Sir Moir's Pension Fund will pack far too many passengers on to buses for comfort or safety, many of whom will have had three or four pints and will be bursting for a pish by the time the bus passes Anderson Drive, and First will have no conscience in charging a kingsford ransom for the privilege, given that this will be post-EU and untrammeled capitalism can then REALLY ram a big one up your bifter.

**** knows how I'll get there.

Thats one thing that the club should really be making plans for themselves. Putting on free buses to ferry people from the city centre to Kingsford.

Might be a little expensive, sure, but it might help those from the centre accept the plans a bit more readily, as it seems to be the biggest gripe currently.

They can dress it up as crowd funding or some sort of co-op sh!te all they like, but really they just sold shares in the company on the premise of a return based on plans of world domination. It was a pretty safe bet for investors (and also got you discounts in their bars) so folk lapped it up.

AFC (as with most football clubs) offer no real prospects as an investment opportunity - they're certainly not going to expand their appeal and generate growth worldwide - so they'll rely on loyal fans to buy up some shares in return for a wee discount in the club shop. I wouldn't expect that to bring about capital in the sort of sums needed for a project like this. What AFC need is an individual who has the club at heart and, say, £500m in the bank to happily chuck £20m into a black hole in return for corporate hospitality for life.

Fair to say it's a passionate subject; cause all of us on both sides are passionate about our club. We do though need to accept we are at a crossroads regarding the stadium and all that goes around it with a step forward ***** to the future of the club either way.

Some might have your misgivings about Stewart Milne, Yule or whoever but we are all fans and supporters and want to see the club progress. So take a few mins and watch the video on the link of our fine manager who has become as passionate a Dons fan as almost any and see how you can disagree with what he is saying. Then as a collective group of fans let it be #AllForAurorahttp://https://www.facebook.com/ally...50804048280305

    Nothing ventured...
Tiered investment levels - with decent offerings may get people to put their hands in their pockets.

Sadly there does not appear too many gadgies with 20M to spare wishing to invest in AFC.
