Ragingpup, typical that people working in "Community services" are worried about Islamophobia. Your views and those of Kerr and others are racist, not mine. They are profoundly racist because you (and Kerr stated it explicitly several times) peddle the line that all will be well as Muslims in the UK gradually adopt more of our (superior) culture and values. In my view they will not. I have no idea of the situation in Rotherham but in northern Lancashire towns where I have direct involvement in the last 20 years there has been a massive fall-off in Muslim children attending integrated schools and two once thriving multicultural social clubs have closed because Muslims stopped going.

This is one of the best and enlightening interviews I have ever listened too. Maajid Nawaaz talks live on air to someone who planned to assassinate him, fascinating insight

I've even offered some general ideas on how we could go about improving the issue, fazing faith schools, forced school integration, education outreach led by Muslim leaders. Might these work? Are they on the right lines? What other realistic and workable solutions do you have? Or anyone else interested in this issue? All I seem to read are people harping on about their perception of the problem.

I have read with interest your comments on this thread & your prolific & often lengthy comments on many other threads at all times of the day
I note that you are employed in a SMT of a London College
My question to you is how come you have all this time during your supposed working day to research/prepare/ compose all these posts
Who's paying your wages while you use this considerable amount of your employers time in pursuing your hobby?
Is your college tax payer funded?
    Just asking

Exile, for my sins (years ago a member of the SWP) I still get approached by old comrades to go on anti-Fascist demos, Support Asylum Seekers Marches and the rest. All the people involved are either in Adult Education, Social Work, Community Services, actors or Community Liaison officers.
I don't take them seriously just as I barely read the drivel of lefties on here. But Ragingpup would be heavily criticised by the Islamophile mob up here for suggesting "We all move forward Together" and espousing the benefits of "integration". Those ideas are considered racist and to advocate them is to be guilty of "cultural hegemony". The mob up here actually picket Council Planning meetings demanding approval for mosques and consistently support proposals for Muslim faith schools. The left doesn't know its rrse from its elbow but as you see on here they are all weighed down with guilt and self-loathing.

Blimey Monty, for someone who purports to follow scientific and rational thinking, your own rationality is all over the place.

Racist? For expecting an immigrant culture to adapt to the values and law of its adopted country? Where is there a judgement from me that our culture or values are superior? They are the values and law of the UK and yes I am expecting an immigrant culture living within the UK to adapt to our values and laws. I thought you did too?

Whether they are successfully doing that or otherwise is open to debate and I welcome your views and experience on that. But banding the word racist about in a hopelessly misguided context is no more helpful from you than it is from the so called "PC brigade" of whom you frequently and derogatorily speak.

    Disappointed really.

Hi Exile. Thanks for the interest in my working patterns. I have holidays and flexible working patterns, sometimes going in late and finishing late, sometimes breaks in the day when working late. I work on average about 60 hours a week. And have a 5 year old! I'm knackered man!

    On holiday at the moment.

    Is that ok with you?

Never seen anyone with such working patterns
Doesn't answer my question though does it but then again

Try looking at your posting patterns which in fact contradict your assertions

I'm getting some bizarre replies today!

You've never heard of people going into work late because they are working late? Or they are working late but have to be in at 8.30am for a meeting and therefore take time out during the day? Surely that happens elsewhere doesn't it??

Not going to justify when and where I post on here to you or anyone, as I would expect you would answer if anyone asked you! But I will respond to you as a concerned taxpayer that we are an Ofsted grade 2 college and doing ok thank you!

(and as it happens, here I am on my holibobs and most of the day I've been writing funding reports. Don't suppose you'll take that into account when you're inspecting my hours sheets?)

Now kindly mind your own f****** business!
