Anyway...whilst Buspass Nudger was busy shouting at people in the commentary box I actually had a mystery Chinese lady sitting next to me. I interrogated her as politely as I could and she had quite a good cover story. She quizzed me on various things like the design of the club badge, was Celebrity Monkey a 'Barnsley toy?', was I a season ticket holder, where did I live ( shush. Secret ) and had I always been a Barnsley fan and why ( yes ( cough ) and BECAUSE ). She spent the second half texting away in Mandarin with at least one happy face in there so there you are. I just felt I had to behave nicely. Just in case...I mean, you never know.......

A real game changer for us and the start of an exciting new era .

Instead of " This is what we are and it's always been the same " TO " This is what we could be and the filling of potential " .

We often don't do ourselves justice , I'm certain it's in the tarn DNA , I'm convinced many of us feel like we don't have the right to compete further up than we do today because we are a small ex mining town , the same as Burnley is an ex small textile town and Bournemouth is a sleepy retirement town with no football heritage at all .

Watford were a lower tier club who played at a ramshackle ground with a dog track running round it .

Lets look at Swansea too , the team we beat in the league one play off final in 2006 and before that nearly went out of the football league .

Fecking long time coming is this in my opinion , we can fill the ground to it's 24k capacity and we can stop selling our star players to clubs in our own division .

It's just some of us don't know it yet because the Tarn DNA kicks in and stops us , " they don't want to go up " mentality .

Embrace it , we may actually enjoy the ride .
