    Transfer deadline day getting close

We will get any more players or lose any. With Barnes and Arfield doing well I can't see us selling, unless we get a silly offer.
Mbappe rumoured to go to PSG on loan and a fee of £166m next year.

WBA turn down £23M for Evans

Hoping for a centre half coming in , indications there may be one other forward type player .

Expecting a couple going out but would be surprised if a prominent squad player. More likely to be Anderson and Agyei.

I was talking on the phone at 3am this morning to my friend in Burnley, he can be as critical as me sometimes, but after he watched the Spurs game he said he would not be surprised if we don't bring anyone else in as he feels Dyche may think the Squad he has now is good enough, fair enough as he watched all the game which I didn't.

He was dumb struck with the thought of Barnes being sold as he's the only one who seems to get in opponents faces and defenders probably don't like playing against him.

Losing Barnes would not be too bad if we get a better player in than him IMO, I still feel we need a Keane replacement and a more adventurous/busy/quick forward or winger.

Another forward will be signed before the window closes and we were never even close to needing sinkov's shopping trolley for that familiar last minute rush down the transfer aisles...

I cannot see Dyche leaving us vulnerable to injuries in any position.

If we could be guaranteed an injury free season that would be great. While we have been relatively lucky in the last few seasons other clubs have suffered badly. It could happen to us as bad as it sounds.

The central defensive position is the one that we are most vulnerable in.

It's the same old song donzy, we have Long, Taylor, Ward and Anderson who can all fill in at centre back!

Sean was asked after the Wembley game about the window,

'Do you have any irons in the fire ?

    Sean, 'Yes'

Do you think any deals might be completed ?

    Sean, 'They might be'

I think we've seen enough now to know that should that marquee centre-half ever arrive, he'll be replacing Ben Mee, not Tarko. But the marquee CB won't be arriving, it'll be a benchwarmer at best.
