    So...How do we look?

For Sunderland away....something like this for me...

    Blackman
    O Connell
    Basham
    Carter - Vickers
    Stevens
    Freeman
    Coutts
    Fleck
    Duffy
    Sharp
    The Don

Subs/Left out - Carruthers, Henegan, Baldock, Hanson, Brooks, Eastwood, Thomas, Lundstram, Lafferty

Injured/suspended - Moore, Lavery, Stearman, clark, Evans?

Competition for Midfield & Defence looks very healthy!!!

That's about right BB but how can we leave Wright out if the squad the way he's performed since he came in? I know we expect him to struggle but he just keeps on delivering. Also I think Carter-Vickers is more of a replacement for Basham, Henegan could be the centre of the 3 CB's but I'm not sure he'll go straight in.

If CW's usual MO is followed then the team will be as unchanged as possible, newbies on the bench.

Agreed mate, especially on the back of decent results.

Haha, you got 3 outraged replies in 3 minutes, non of them aware of the others when posting because you dared to dis Jake senior.

I can't see him dropping Bash yet TBH, he could move him into midfield though. We all know his limitations but he epitomises what Wilder's teams are all about. I think it'll be the same team as last weekend with the Don replacing Lavery, and from then on, Clark and the Don will battle it out to partner Billy until the other strikers are fit or we get somebody else in. Not a lot of scope for permutations right now unless we push Brooks up there.

Plenty of permutations in defence though now and in midfield especially if we include Basham as an option, so I think we'll hold our own until the next window and then hopefully kick on.

yeah agree with all of that gray got a feeling brooks will be used more in away games than at home thing is were totally covered at the back now can you imagine a front 3 of hanson clarke and the don if were 1 down and flinging crosses in at the death could be interesting
