After a previous rant about Bolton prices for away fans l was ready to kick off again over Wendy's outrageous pricing for the upcoming SS derby. In fairness (though hardly fair) they are also ripping off their own fans so it's basically an exercise in using the game to put an extra quarter of a million into the coffers compared to any normal Championship fixture. I expect we will do the same in the return fixture so, if you want in, it's a case of having to find an extra £15.
Anyway, all this got me wondering what the rest of the Championship away pricing looks like. I was expecting/hoping to be paying around £25-£28 for away games but clearly clubs can and do charge what the hell they like. Here's a list of standard adult prices for upcoming away fixtures. It makes interesting reading. I know most clubs operate differential pricing so I've added the visiting team for context.

Incidentally, I feel a bit like I've stepped into Roy's territory doing this. Knowing the time it's taken to gather all this together, my respect for the work Roy does in compiling the "view froms" has just gone even higher. 😄

I think it was 1/- for adults (standing) when I first went, and 6d for us young 'uns. (That's 5p and 2.1/2p for you present day young 'uns).
I've never really got over paying 6/- (30P) to sit in the wonderful new world cup stand in S6 to watch them lot get a (very lucky) victory over the Blades.
After that, I made a vow never to contribute to their coffers again!
Happily, I was finally talked into breaking that vow in March 1992. Bobby Davison - Legend!
what year was that then ronnie when they got that lucky win ? cant recollect them beating us there between 66 and 79
My first Derby was at BDBL when Bill Punton scored the winner in a 1-0 win.I've been to Swillsbro plenty seen all 3 possible results but i won't pay £42 to the robbin tunapig,i wunt pay it even if it weren't on Sky.UTCB
