I do not think Arfield fits into the "mediocre player" band.

We're a PL team now BT, so naturally I'm talking about PL standard players. When you look at some of the players at this level, quite a lot of them actually, I think it's fair to say he's mediocre, in fact that might be being kind to him. Let's face it, even Sean wouldn't claim we're anything other than a mediocre PL team at best, and Scotty can't get into our first choice starting eleven, and there's a good reason for that.

I'm not knocking him BT, I like him, he's done more for us than we could ever have expected, I'm just being realistic. Giving a player a contract extension because he scores a goal at Anfield is what basket-case clubs do, as we can agree, with Garlick and Dyche running the club, we're no basket-case.

I was suggesting being a little more Machiavellian than you think sinkov. Come May he walks for nothing, boost him with a three year contract and watch the daft beggars in the Championship come storming in with cheque books open!

I hold my hand up BT, one step ahead of me. You might not be a Tory, but you think like one.

You don't think I got to be where I am today by thinking like a bloody socialist do you sinkov?
