Squabbling over money the greedy bastids, give a big chunk of it to Championship/ League 1 & 2 and grass roots, maybe then we'd see better home grown players being produced and be proud of our England team instead of being ashamed.

Premier League clubs are split in a £1billion conflict over TV money — the biggest threat to the top flight's unity since its formation.
A meeting of the 14 Premier League clubs, not including the Big Six, was held at London's Pullman St Pancras Hotel on Wednesday to discuss their approach ahead of next week's summit on the big TV issue.
PL chief executive Richard Scudamore, who was invited to address the meeting, revealed that three other clubs — Everton, Leicester and West Ham — had joined the big six Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in accepting his proposal that 35 per cent of overseas cash would be allocated according to where a club finishes in the table. Currently all the foreign money is shared equally between the 20 clubs.

Fair comment. The FA thought they could get a better deal for themselves and let the PL do their own negotiation. Big mistake.
Where's the other 65% going?
Meeting coming up tomorrow.
Sean speaks out for the status quo. 9 clubs in favour but they need 14 so unlikely to pass ... for now!

It look s like the big six won’t win the vote BUT There are fears that the big six would revisit plans for a European super league should they not get their wishes here.
Perhaps more realistically they would push again for more live matches or staging games abroad.

Would be great if the big six moved on to a European super league and left the other clubs to get on with it..
It would be great for us if the top 6 did play in a European super league, but for the proper (not the plastics) fans of these Clubs its another nail in the coffin pricing them out of seeing them play, the failing of our favourite national sport has been spoiled by money and greed, there was great Football before the Premier League started which a lot of people choose to forget because all they see are £ signs, a lot of folk see our top League as the best in the World, but forget or don't want to know that our grass roots have and are still suffering because of bad Management of distribution.![]()
65% will be split equally amongst all 20 clubs. 35% will be split according to league position. Discussion deferred now, I guess because the top six might be thinking of setting up a European super league which would probably hit the remaining PL clubs even harder.
Sean doesn’t like the plan, but maybe there will be a new one with say 20% split by league position?
