He seems to be getting more confidence week by week I noticed today he was coming further out in his area for crosses than he was when he first arrived
I think he is a good loan signing for us

I really like this keeper.
His punching power is great to see as it clearly alleviates pressure from the defence.
Not everyone's cup of tea as he punches clear when others think he should be catching some of the crosses into his box.
Has he been encouraged to do this?
He is also able to dive quickly to save shots as shown late on this afternoon.
Far better than O' Donnell as he clearly comes out many yards to make his presence felt, well done for this Marek.
Doubt we can sign him on a permanent move as he is a Championship keeper and probably on very good wages.

Has Warne made a bad signing so far ?
Yep he is very quick out and is alert to dangerous situations. He is the best keeper we have at the moment and long may it continue.
Hes been told to punch when ever he can it was mentioned in the forum .Warne likes his keepers like that .If it works why stop it .Hasn't been at fault for any goals whiles hes been here and is the best we have .No idea why people would want O'Donnell back in the net hes as bad as the other one we have Price .
Quite a lot of Eastern European keepers punch rather than catch the ball especially if under pressure.
Imagine if he came to catch the ball & dropped it allowing an opposition player to score. This site would go into melt down.
Agree with Pokey from Swinton MR he's not been at fault for any goals conceded ( none that I've seen anyway )
I wish him well for his future career wherever that may be.
Goalkeeper must be the most difficult position to play.
They can go from hero to zero in one poor decision.
Being behind our defence at times must be difficult to say the least.
I owe the guy an apology because up until the Blackburn match I'd not been too glowing with my opinions of him, not on here I might add just chatting to mates and customers.
But he's won me over and if he's comfortable punching so be it but don't for christ sake do what we did yesterday, the ironic cheer when he did catch the ball, that could plant seeds of doubt into the young man.
Looking better now. One awkward punch yesterday. Pollitt was a line keeper. Just like Rodak at corners if it's his ball come for it. He caught the ball from other crosses into the box against Northampton. Good shot stopper & he's coming out more now. Bit of a mix up with Potter yesterday. Be missing I believe next week. International call up.
Can see why he's been asked to punch with the speed we counter attack, 1 good punch out can lead to a goal but can also lead to mistakes as well, he just needs to learn when the best decision is to punch or catch a bit more and he'll be great.
