    OT. Invictus Games.

You guys are possibly aware the 3rd annual Invictus Games in Toronto concluded yesterday (Saturday)? I watched many of the various competitions on telly, to see those veterans compete with devastating, life changing visible and non-visible injuries was truly awe inspiring. Those competitors deserve all the credit in world for performing at a high level, demonstrating sportsmanship and behaving in an appropriate, honourable manner. Pro athletes would do well to emulate such respect for their competitors.

As for Prince Harry, the games figurehead, no matter where one stands regarding the Royals (I’m a staunch Royalist), also deserves a lot of credit, kudos to him.

Yes, I believe so...your point is?

Harry was also pictured hand in hand with his girlfriend, first time in public.

Anyone who follows my pro-Republican rants will know I have a soft spot for our Royal Family (it's a peat bog in the Republic of Ireland) but fair play to Harry. Good job!

A privileged ex-serviceman empathising with and supporting our disabled veterans is beyond criticism - even from the likes of me.

Harry was indeed pictured with ex-President Obama. It's to see two powerful chaps getting it on with our disabled veterans. Great stuff!
