rafa is as negative as fat sam
Was discussing this very thing last night,I said to one of my mates.."I wonder what would have being said, if Sham was in charge?"
Dont get me wrong I think Rafa is mint.
Why do we put up with the style though?
Are we not deluded fans any more, because of the sobering experience of relegation?
Or is it simply because of the spending power of the (I hate saying this) top six?

Sam spent absolutely millions on a team, couldn't motivate them at all, they were sinking fast.

we were the only team to lose to Derby that season, we were the only team NOT to beat them.

Rafa is working with what he has, Sam made his team!

also, Sam is a big fat hippo heeded Knacker!

    I disagree.

Clark came with a reputation for dropping a bollock almost every game (we'll forgive him yesterday's wee blemish ), Yedlin was shaky defensively and Lascelles worried a lot of us. All 3 have improved a lot. I'm not claiming any of them are perfect but to say no-one's improved is just wrong, imo. (I would even say I feel a lot happier with Elliot these days)

he plays a system that is boring and effective to get results with the players he has

if he was in charge of liverpool he would have them far higher in the league than they are as he would sort the back 4 out but have the flair players to go forward

rafa brought work horses in in the last window

    rafas philosphy is dont loose
if that means sitting there watching negative footy then so be it

as much as i liked the draw against the scousers and the weekend
i wouldnt have paid to watch it if i was just in the toon to watch a game

rafa is as negative as fat sam

and if that keeps us up so be it

me id prefer the fizzy playing attacking entertaining footy
Totally disagree about nobody improving but then again the whole team could improve and you wouldn't acknowledge. The sheer hate thing you have going for Rafa just blinds you.

I agree that it would be interesting to see what views would be if it was Fat Sam in charge and we played that way but i think teh difference is, Rafa has a plan and it's clearly long term where Fat Sam didn't.

Personally i prefer being in the prem with Rafa as manager.

The shots on target bit is wrong
Before the goal in one attack they hit the post and have 3 shots on goal in the space of a few seconds

hitting the post is OFF target.

shots blocked by defenders go into the blocked shots category.

I'm guessing g the shots on target will be the sum total of goals + saves by the keeper = 1+1 = 2

you could say rafa spent millions last season and we scraped over the line in a league chris houghton destroyed when managing us and played entertaining footy
