For arguments sake say, it would cost 10 million a year for a building firm to get the same as Sports direct get at the stadium and club shop. That means we are out of pocket by 100m in the Ashley era
Unfortunately there are many on here who won't want to admit that.

I'm sure that is the only reason Ashley has clung on here and bourne us through failure season after failure season.

To him even while we were in the Fizzy we were still getting huge exposure for his darling Sports Direct Tat.

Does anyone know how much it woud cost normal paying sponsors to have the same exposure within a stadium?
This is obviously a perk for the fat man.

Let me put this to you and be honest with me.

Two questions to answer if you will. This goes for everyone.

1: If a Chinese owner comes in and plasters the names of his companies all over St.James' Park like Ashley and does not pay for it but does hand Rafa a fortune to rebuild, will you be happy with the tat around the stadium, assuming you see it was like or worse than Ashley's....will you be happy and content with that advertising and manner?

2: If a Chinese owner comes in and plasters the names of his companies all over St.James' Park like Ashley but pays for the adverts at the going rate, yet runs the club in exactly the same way Ashley does in terms of only spending what the club generates and using no personal wealth... would you be happy and content with that advertising and manner?

Well Pinocchio Pboro, just another case of you being too stupid to read that relevant post and work the figures out for your self.

All of the other posters understood the figures and if you can be bothered to remember Pinocchio Pboro, they weren't my figures but came from an official source.

Either case although not ideal in it's entirety would be better than what we have presently with Ashley.

But it doesn't have to be a case of one of those or the other. There are better results possible with a reputable commercial manager in charge.

And remember neither Sir John nor Freddie made use of free advertising for their companies.

the northern numpties did far more for the northeast than ashley,s done
according to rumour ashley got suckered - northern numpties more cockney mug lol
they tired of it - they built it from 20,000 to 50,000 remember the days of climbing over the leazes wall

The argument has been Ashley's tat making the stadium look horrible and what not.

Imagine what the Chinese stuff will look like, assuming they took over?
NO,NO,NO, the argument is and always has been that he has taken the advertising space which could have been sold at the current rates to benefit the club.

Ghost you are beginning to argue like PinocchioPboro.

I'm not interested in who or what you think I'm arguing like. I'm merely asking a few questions of posters to gauge their mindset.
