The whole thing is a shambles. Isn't this the second time the club have asked for a delay?

Rather the club have all the due dillengence completed and have robust compelling presentation to the Council than get turn up and hope for the best.

Club have already invested millions in these projects, we cannot afford to lose again.

Still think we should have located the beach area opposite the funfair or somewhere down there

The delay to get their ducks lined up so to speak, is a good move, as there will be an incoming legal challenge from the locals.

I too am suspicious of the miliionaire's millions.

The delay is terrible. AFC have had ages in planning this with plenty of time to think through every objection. It’s shambolic.

Don’t get me wrong, I am all for a new stadium, but our board really have ****ed this up. Presumably they have got a “nod and a wink” about a material objection point, maybe the proposed footbridge or the width of the pavements. But this should have been thought through long ago.

"His" company (he was the CEO & President) was Brightree, which was sold for $800m.

This is presumably where the £567m figure comes from.

Venture capital firm Battery Ventures owned the majority of Brightree and there were also several other shareholders.

So Cormack will have received nothing remotely close to £567m.

Exactly. He'll be rich, just not stupid rich where he can fund the stadium.

You're just assuming the worst of AFC.
From what I've heard, the council & planners had told AFC they had all the information they required.
Now they allegedly want more info at the last minute.
    Therefore the council/planners at fault.
AFC can't publicly say it as they need them onside.

Well ,this is the club who didn't even realise that people would need traffic lights to cross the multiple roads ( bypass), walking from the park n ride, kingswells etc.
until it was pointed out to them .
No I don't have any confidence in our club.

I think they will not be able to get past the need to reduce the road width.
There is plenty evidence there for afc not doing their homework.
