Only the 3rd league game this season in which we've fallen behind. Worryingly, we went on to lose the other two.

I thought people were being a bit quick to write off the no show at Mansfield as just one of those things. Complacency never solves an issue. There should have been more changes today.

Lets be honest, we had a 'lucky run' but luck does 'not' last for a whole season

This is sodding awful, it's like we've lost the ability to do the very basics. FGR playing some good pass and move football and could be 2-0 up.

Think we need Ameobi on so we can actually hold the ball up.

Let's face it, those of us who know a bit about the game and Notts County have suspected all along that the club has been very lucky to be where they are.
All the signs are there that Notts are going to repeat the pattern of scoring on the counter away and living with fear at home.
The ridiculous forecasts of 4, 5 and 6 goals for today were never going to happen because Notts haven't got it in them.
My warnings a few weeks ago that it all might turn into dust were jumped on because the supporters of this club - like they did with Trew - want to dodge the uncomfortable truths.
The only hope of getting back in this is with an in-form Ameobi and that's asking a lot for a man who's been injured for 4 weeks.

I'd suggest scoring two goals quickly might be a decent strategy

Actually I do still think we'll win this....Forte is playing well, if Hawk and Grant just up their game in attack....2 or 3 goals is not impossible....fingers crossed

I think I'll stick by what I said at half-time, right down to Ameobi's reappearance sparking the team to life.
And Banjo is quite correct - you can be lucky. I'll list the ways.

What a load of old twaddle! You can't be lucky for 90 minutes every week, game after game.

I bet you don't walk under ladders or put your washing out on a New Years' Day do you?

Notts' were winning well without Ameobi (or is that a fact that just slips your memory?). What has changed is the confidence. They become hesitant where before they would push ahead. Nolan needs to take their minds off the next game and get the team doing stuff to bring back the team spirit.
