Stead should not even be starting....the guy has lost it...Shola, yes, Aless in his place possibly......where is the Saunders lad?

It's the third time this season that we've conceded the first goal and the third time we've failed to win. We seem to struggle when going behind in a game.

But then again, few mistakes were made against Swindon and Exeter but still players were dropped. Insecurity will breed a lack of confidence and stifle creativity. Can anyone say Nolan's faith in keeping nine out of ten of the team that were humbled by Mansfield paid off today?
Nolan has changed his team twice for midweek games, and we won them both. Your argument makes no sense because you're criticising him for dropping players but our performance today was down to NOT dropping players?
He has faith in his squad, he's using all his resources and looking at the league table he's doing a damn good job. And talking about confidence, that would be the one word I would use to explain why almost the same bunch of players that were so poor last season, have been so much better this season. So again your argument makes no sense! But hey I'm sure you understand the psyche of those players better than the league two manager of the month!

Stead should not have been re-signed. Whilst ever we continue with him the goals will not flow...Unfortunately we have no ready made replacements. Simply because the players we signed before the start of the season in Saunders and Hodge are simply not goo enough at this level...

Any other negative comments you've been pretty quiet lately but unlike the first team you turned up today. I'm happy with Nolans performance in fact more than happy. I don't disagree with you but you still need to shut your face up. Boring old fart!

Forest Green did look better than us, but frankly it was because we were only showing a fraction of the intensity we have in most games this season. Last week I could understand the dip at Mansfield, because it was the third of three tough games in a week, including a journey to Exeter. Today, though, the players were culpable. They stood off the opposition, shied away from challenges and played at a half-hearted tempo throughout the game, which is really disappointing because they had a full week to prepare, and I was hoping to see an aggressive, high-tempo reaction to the Mansfield game. The only player who looked seriously angry was Carl Dickinson, who wasn't having his greatest game but at least seemed unwilling to drop his shoulders and accept it.

All that said, we kept going to the end and got a point more than we deserved. Next week, the tempo and intensity levels against Barnet need to be at least 50% better.
I don't think that it was intensity and attitude as much as tactics. Nolan's a young manager who is doing brilliantly but he's still learning and was out-thought by Cooper yesterday for me - they used the extra man in midfield really effectively.

For me Nolan needed to make an unpopular change at half time in taking off a striker for a midfielder to match them up. I think if he had we'd have gone on to win, but being outnumbered in midfield meant that we could never get enough of the ball to really put their shaky defence under pressure.

All of that said, scoring in the 96th minute to get a point when you've played really badly is definitely the sign of a half decent team.
