    Freedom....mmmm

Over 20,000 EU rules, regulations and statutory powers overlay, IMO the best Government and Rule of Law in the World (I posted a link last year, by year, the number of new regs handed down to us).....why?....because EU officials needed to bind 28 countries together, then invented a new Court System to oversee their zealous march to World Domination.

Abu Hamza-the-hook preached his disgusting brand of anti-West hatred in the streets of Finchley.....and we could do nothing about it......how much blood is on the hands of the EU-technocrats?, will they ever be taken to court, jailed even for complicity in innocent lives lost to Hamza's disciples?

The answer is an emphatic NO, because you cannot make a nice multi-cultural omelette without smashing a few eggs....they don't care how many die....just like Stalin who sent millions to their death purely for criticism of his view of World Power.

Freedom ......maybe none of us are ever free unless you adopt the mantra of Freeman On The Land.....but there are degrees of Freedom.....and the EU is on a par with all the other dictatorships......Egypt locking up all their Gays, Turkey locking up all that oppose Erdogan, Venezuala where there are no drugs in the hospitals or food in the stores, ISIL where they sell slaves and boil Christians, Burma where they torch the houses of 500,000 Muslims.....even the USA where the Police shoot 10s of thousands of unarmed citizens every year for....well, nothing really "I thought he had a gun and he was black"

Freedom is a relevant concept.....and the EU ain't it.....at least if it goes tits-up after 2019, we can sit here debating Party Policy rather some 3rd party Control-freak.

It seems as if Project Fear is rapidly turning into Project Reality.

But as always, the people responsible will blame everybody except themselves.

As far as I can see, this is not going to resolve itself until the EU stop trying to play the bully....which is why the Tories need to re-emphasise that we are prepared to take a "no deal" scenario rather than pay a ransom demand....of course it's going to hurt in the short-term .....but it's the price that most loyal Brits will pay, in return for their Freedom.

That's what a significant number of Remoaners seem to have trouble getting into their heads.....the concept of Freedom
The 'no deal' scenario will not be taken seriously by anyone whilst May is Prime Minister - whilst she 'remains' the Tories will have to sign up Johnny Wilkinson as the Can Kicker, buy him some steel toe capped boots and stand him in a very large unmowed field.

Totally agree for once.....the people to blame, the EU, are pretending it's not their fault......the fact that Cameron went out there to warn them that this was going to happen if he didn't get concessions on Immigration, free movement of people, reduced State Benefits for the said immigrants....and some flexibility on the ECHR rulings where we couldn't seem to deport anyone....was totally ignored for fear that other Countries would want the same.

Yep, agreed....the EU Technocrats are to blame

...unless as someone suggested earlier.....she takes the flak for a "no deal", falls on the ceremonial sword and the Tories elect a new leader in 2019.

If she "takes one for the team"...at least she can go down in history as the one that, at least, got us out of the EU on the instructions of the electorate.

10 years from now, once the dust has settled, History might be kinder to her?

ps did anyone watch PMQs where she threw her notes onto the Dispatch Box and they flew off, she was getting angry.....BUT she apologised....grrrr.....I wouldn't have bothered apologising, she looked like she wanted a scrap and would've got credit for that...apologising with a timid smile meant that she had lost the moment....shame

Ahhhhh...like when Tony warned you of the imminent anti-Macron riots?.....I noticed you went strangely quiet once the French started taking to the streets with rocks, bottles and Molotov Cocktails....strange that

Yep, you seem to enjoy backing the Lefties, Driller....then when it goes tits-up, like Steptoe, Abbott and Owen all doing their pro-Venezuala stance....you all sit back and say "not my fault, I'm not in Power"

Just to refresh everyone's memory on the Labour support of an Army-backed Socialist Dictatorship in Venezuala.....Abbott is particularly inspiring...not

11 minutes of pure Lefty comedy

For those people who think at the moment the EU is being mean and nasty and not letting the UK have exactly what it wants, their negotiators are currently in “sincere co-operation” mode.

It’s after we’ve actually left that they’ll really mean business. It would be funny if it didn’t mean hundreds of thousands of people losing their homes and jobs.

But hey, sovereignty and kicking the forriners out innit.

    Anti Macron riots?

Can you name a French president whose tenure hasn't seen violent street protests when they have tried to reform employment law? Or even when they haven't for that matter. I can't.

Can you remember when you thought Le Pen was going to win because of a right wing populist revolution sweeping everything before it in Europe? That was quite funny.

I back up the 'lefties' when I think they're right, I back up right wing opinions when I think they're right (Macron is neither really).

It's called making one's own mind up.

Chubby, you keep setting 'em up......I'll knock 'em over (until I get bored)

We have already offered "forriners" to stay.....I take it you do watch the news?.....BUT, the EU is insisting that EU migrants are given "special status and are protected by future EU laws".....plus, I THINK, their families.

This would probably mean setting up a separate court and legal system.....similar to Muslims demanding Sharia Courts (hundreds already in place in Britain)....because they "are a special case"?

Now honestly Chubby, what country in their right mind would accept such demands?.....none, categorically none that I know of......try suggesting that in the USA, Turkey, Egypt, China, India, Russia or Australia......you would be laughed out of the country, probably in handcuffs and a strait-jacket
