Defensive doesn't mean boring. Today we ran at their goal whenever we could. I don't understand the 'boring' criticism.

Today was great. Would've like three points but the notion that we look like a solid team - combined with the facts that we didn't lose - comforts me.

Too right. For me a good, fast counter attack is much more exciting to watch than passing it about, possession football in midfield.

They were very positive about us especially Keown. I liked the way Rafa talked about the fans. Massive respect both ways which isn't really a surprise.

That's what you see in the game when you understand what Rafa is doing with the players he has.

What really boiled my piss, after seeing it again was the pen.
Long wasnt ganning anywhere when Lejeune lunged in,at the time I screamed no!!!
After seeing it again numerous times,as soon as he heard a defender thundering in,he kicked the fecking ball straight oot,the little smarmy ba5tard and he is a little smarmy ba5tard.If Lejeune had been a nano second later the ball would have been out of play!!!!
Little cheating smarmy cheating little ugly kernt...
    Ah that feels better...

Yes possession football might look pretty but doesn't always get a win,I remember Swansea some time back getting 60 or even 70 per cent against some teams including against us when we beat them 2-0 at their place.

Anyone can play keep ball in their own half or midfield.
