If we are going to play a non goal scoring centre forward, we need a Kevin Campbell or a Fortune. Rondon just not good enough and is his work rate is slipping.
    Don’t forget Odemwingie.

I did forget and was a good un, till his head got turned.
Wish you young un's could see the likes of Derick Kevan,Astle ,Brown and Regis. A winger like Chippy Clark,Willie Johnson and Cunningham.

Doesn't matter who we play up front. We create nothing. Although Rondon is p iss poor. We had one touch in their box in the entire first half. No centre forward would score the way the Anti Coach sets us up.
I didn't even bother watching the second half. It's embarrassing and pathetic.
His in game coaching is abysmal all he does is bellow like a Sunday league team manager on the touch line.
Livermore is useless. He just ponces around in a 25 yard square around our own box.
We cannot win, we cannot score, we cannot defend.

We played some brilliant football around that time and on our day could and indeed did, give the top teams some some very hard games and often beating them.

    It wasn't that long ago....

The players are not as bad as the manager is making them look.

As soon as I saw Livermore was in that midfield today I was sure we'd lose.

Any other manager would have Krychowiak dead centre of the pitch and dominating the centre circle.

Put Yacob alongside him if need be to act as his minder and to do the dirty stuff.

Bottom line for me.....if you don't feel one of your midfielders is good enough to play in a four man midfield then they are not good enough for this level.

I'm sick of seeing players like the Pole,Barry and Livermore take the ball whilst stood next to our centre halves....FFS if the CH isn't capable of bringing the ball past the half way line they should be shipped out.

We are 10-15 yards too deep all over the pitch.....I'm sick of playing scared like he forces us to do.

    Next Saturday I'm going shopping......F U C K Pulis and this b o l l o x.

We cannot go into games against sides like Southampton with the mindset that we adopt at the present moment. To be honest, it is embarrassing listening to the comments about our style of play from the commentators. That first half performance was shameful. There was absolutely no intent to attack whatsoever and remember, this is against a side who were below us. We have Man. City, Chelsea and Spurs coming up and I'm dreading what they could do to us.

It's all very well saying that we need strikers but who else would score given the fact that we rarely get the ball into the opposition penalty area. We do have attack minded players but they are either not selected or rarely let off their defensive duties in order to attack. If we stick to these negative tactics I can only see one outcome, and that's relegation. I said before the season started that with our relatively easy early fixtures, if we weren't comfortably in the top half after eight games we will struggle. We are not and we will!

Rondon may not be great but it's not his fault. Astle wouldn't score many in this set up. 3 central defensive midfielders and 2 wide out of position midfielders isn't going to create much. None of them are over quick to help Rondon out when he gets the ball. All the problems are self created by Pulis.
Can't knock our players for their goal. Best, Cooke, Clark, Johnson, Cunningham would have all been pleased to have scored it.

I would be willing to bet you a quid to an inch of 5hit that Yacob would have stopped him.
Another question posed by the team selection is that when so many of our goals come from set plays why does Pulis leave the best deliverer of free kicks in the league sitting on the bench.

I'd have Yacob in. Said so on the Pulis out post. Plus Phillips & possibly Brunt. The only 2 who regularly deliver good balls. Rodriguez wide is madness.
