This in my opinion leaves us appointing an out of work manager who has recently been sacked,so if its between McIntyre,Hughes or Stubbs i would choose the latter,he took an impossible job in England just as McInnes did a few years ago.The vast majority of Ross County fans wanted rid of Jim and Billy,Yogi lost the dressing room at Raith and McKinnon did a better job than him at Starks Park.If Stubbs had stayed at Easter Road he would have taken them up and i reckon he is the man we should go for.
Sound logic, wouldn't be unhappy with Stubbs.

I'd love for ST to do something that will give everyone a boost (excluding him leaving which would do the trick) - that would be managing to get someone like Billy Davies despite what he has said recently.

Maybe, just maybe the Coyle and Clarke appointments will see another 'big name' drop their expectations and see a club like us as a springboard to get back to where their egos think they should be!

Tommy Wright for me. Billy Reid is the favourite internally allegedly. That comes from me when i said hughes was no 1 target before McKinnon. He was compo was the issue otherwise he would have been oor manager.

I think we are going for Billy Reid now chaps. Thoughts?

Its still Ross or Stubbs for me but i would take Reid before McIntyre or Hughes.I trust the chairman of Ross County more than Dundee United's and he sacked Jim with the blessing of his fan base,if you are deemed not good enough for Ross County then sorry you are no use to us either.
I do like John Hughes but why would you take the Raith Rovers manager who got them to the play offs then sack him and replace him with the Raith Rovers manager who relegated them?,see where i'm coming from troops?.

That just about sums it up GB, you don't know what the phuck you're getting.
Remember Terry & Mo 'head hunted' from the Hielands to Leith.
Were Hibs not top 6 when they arrived? Six months later they were 11th and lost to Accies in the play-offs.
    You coudnae mak it up

Spot on mate and do you know what? i reckon Tommy Wright may well fail at his next club like Terry did when he left ICT and Levein did when he left United. Some managers are really suited to the club's they are with and it never works out when they move on.I reckon that's why Jim McLean turned down Glasgow Rangers RIP,he was clever enough to know it would never work out.

Correctomundo GB, it's my square peg & round hole theory.
Let's look at TW - he only got the McDiarmid gig cos his Irish mate went dunsouth.
Irish mate flopped miserably, TW remains and is as happy as a fermer wi a new John Deere.
And Jack Ross will never manage Man You, maybe Arthurlie.

No ones suggested Ricky Ross yet

Would it be beneath his Dignity to apply though?
