Will the shuttle busses be running during the game? I would’ve left long before Johnny Hayes was clapped onto the pitch

If it was at Kingsford, I might have been tempted to nip into the red bar for a swift few more at the end of the game.

You have to give Celtic team and Rogers credit.
They changed their tactics and options and adapted very well to what we had to offer.
    Top red!
Just what did we have to offer?

DM tried something different and wanted to impose the team.
It worked for 5-10 minutes until Rogers adapted the formation.

DM then targetted Boyatta to be left with the ball at the back, so Rogers adapted again, putting Boyatta wide and leaving Bitton as the free guy to drive from defence into midfield.

We failed to adapt from that and was clearly obviously we were missing a ball carrier.

Usually Celtic play with 4 at the back and push the two full backs forward.
Gordon then having the option of the two centre backs dropping wide into the full back positions to pick up the ball with normally only 1 striker.
DM went with two up front to try and stop them playing from the back.
    It worked, for 5-10 minutes.

Rogers changed formation, to ensure they retained a spare man at the back, pushing Tierney forward and as discussed abover, when it became clear we were happy to let Boyatta have the ball with the worst distribution, Celtic adapted again to play him as one of the wide defensive players.

Kari being rolled to allow Dembele to attack and put the ball across Tierney, who scored from an amazingly tightangle, was their first effort on goal.

From then we were chasing shadows.

Celtic were sharp, they were on their game, it became a training session for them

No McInnes sh@t it like he did 5 of the 6 defeats last season. We are Celtics b@tches.

He refused to have a go at them at home. Pretty criminal

What points did I make that you disagreed with.
McInnes went two up front to try something different.

Theres a gulf in finances, depth of squad and you also have to say managerial ability.
Celtic and Rogers were immense last night in how they adapted and controlled the game.
If you don't see it then you clearly have a different view on football than I have.

I do think he made the wrong choice shifting Shinnie from full back.
We didn't see his energy in midfield and would have faired better with Tansey (although just back from injury) or Mclean in there with Wright as a ball carrier further ahead.

What would you propose DM did differently?

    y?
They werent immense at all. They were good. Cant deny that but they were made to look alot better we didnt turn up again against them. When a team gives them the freedom of the city of course they will be good. Wrong thread for this

Anyway back on topic. Is there a spade in the ground at Kingsford yet? This is a saga

I 100% have a different view of football than you. I hope the hun come calling and Derek goes. I'm not bothered by the who next pish. I just want entertainment, effort and application when it matters. The last couple of seasons, irrespective of finishing position in the diddiest of leagues, his methods bore me.

His style is almost exactly the same as Craig Browns but with better players at his disposal
