ST isnt casting these names around no way. Jesus the club are interviewing, talking and doing the right thing IMO. But yes he musthave a preferred candidate in mind however if applicants have come from left field they have to be explored. Hopkin I would have but didnt think he would apply, livi wouldnt let go and at best compo was involved so would rule him out.

Interesting and good that names are cropping up.

I'm not so sure. He took over Livi in Dec and they still got relegated. Wasn't until he brought in his own players that they started playing. Can we afford similar? Definitely not. We need someone to get the best out of these players and take us up.

Lets be fair Utds strong point just now isnt comms so i doubt we will get much around timescales. Would be good say after dumbarton game for a run through of whats happening and even we have had some exciting applicants and need time to run through a short list. A simple piece might just get fans excited again.

Of course fans are interested in the names but we can't just go announcing them to keep people happy. Thats confidential information. Like i said, these guys ar still in jobs, some probably won't want their name being mentioned. We already know interviews are taking place this week, into next week. Don't see why people think the club need to say any more tbh. Agents and press will put enough info out there to keep people interested. I'd imagine we have taken the 50+ down to about 6-10, then will re-interview 2 or 3 if need be.
