Doyen are an investment business, but there is some speculation that they lend you money to buy players and coaches, but increasingly it is only the ones they represent, and you take them and end up paying a significant premium, a bit like buying your telly from Brighthouse.

Putting 2 and 2 together, if Tunaman has gone all in and bought the fridge freezer from them as well, it might explain how crap players keep turning up on big wages, how he has stuck with Carloss (I believe represented by Doyen...), and why they are all headless chicken about FFP. Dark days ahead at the bucket...

Its a company that specialises in selling items to the poor, people pay per week so it appears cheap, but in reality they are being vastly overcharged. For example a new Samsung 55 inch MU6220 in Curry's it is £749. In Bright House it is advertised at £18 per week, except when you look at the small print this is for 156 weeks which works out at £2,808! (TV £1,348.01, Delivery charge of £65 and interest of £1,394.99 (APR 69.9%))

I'm sure TT will have heard of Brighthouse mate,but obviously the finest hotelier there's ever been would never need to go to such a shop,cos i'm sure if he was ever skint he could ask King Kev for a few bob. UTCB

All these three year season tickets and the like, the phoney taxi firm, the phoney energy drink, it all just smacks of desperation. It sounds to me like they have either overcommitted themselves to Doyen on the basis that promotion is assured and now the awkward letters have started arriving, or, they have spent too much vs. FFP and know they are up for an embargo or fine or whatever.

The dark clouds are gathering. I really feel, that for them, in the race between shyte or bust, bust is winning.

I don't think me and TT will be swapping Christmas cards Rod, but as you correctly point out, its all abart opinions, and he's as entitled to his as I am to mine. UTB
