I don't mind at all having my ticket checked. It happens in all theatres of entertainment and travel where some people try to get summat fer next to nowt. AH ought to have seen something like this would happen though when he introduced ticket only turnstiles. It would have been a bit more diplomatic too, if he had announced that these checks were being introduced before bringing it in. But if he had tried, how to do it? It would have been pointless doing it over the tannoys as nothing can be heard in the Kop but an incomprehensible muffled blur.

Got to back this 100%. There’s always some who’ll try and bend the rules. Wonder if any caught will be banned or just asked to stump up the difference? I’d refuse them admission to the ground until they purchase the correct ticket. This way they will be penalised, as effectively they will have paid twice.
This is AH on the twitfeed on Sunday:

I’m done with Twitter today. Self imposed 24 hour ban otherwise I’ll be drained of all motivation for my Monday management meetings
He tries to defend an action in 140 characters, fails to get his point over and continues to defend the action in 140 characters to the point where he has, presumably out of exasperation, to stop tweeting (though he didn't and made one more tweet on another subject).
The OS is the right place to explain a policy and thankfully that has now been done.
The OS is the right place to make all statements concerning NCFC. *******s to social friggin media!! Use the OS and get people interested enough to look at it. Currently I delete any emails I get from the OS without even bothering to look. MAD is more informative than the OS ffs.
Electronic entry has been in operation at Bramall Lane for a few years now. The way it works there is that you stick the end of your ticket with the bar code on in the slot, the turnstile beeps and lets you in. So far so good. On the inside of the turnstile above your head is a green light and a red light, one of which lights up to coincide with the beep. The steward knows by the colour of the light whether you have paid to come through as a 5 year old or as Sid/Elite/Soccerman. If it's clearly done on the wrong ticket you get your collar felt.
