Is there though? There's no guarantees that our new stadium will attract more or even the same amount of fans. We could be paying it off for the next 100yrs. The last debt we had was apparently "structured accordingly" and it choked us to death on the park.

Yes there is a huge difference.

    Pure speculation or scaremongering.
There's equally no guarantees that our new stadium will attract fewer fans.

Our fanbase has always fluctuated and didn't sell out regularly even in the glory 80's period.
Certainly have a better chance of attracting new fans with better facilities.

You talk about speculation of attracting fewer fans then straight away "Certainly have a better chance of attracting new fans with better facilities". Is that not you speculating

The new stadium won't attract any fans if they have to wait for hours to get on a shuttle bus.

Yeah I can't quite work that out. Especially since Statto "speculated" how the new ground will be getting paid for.

I was talking about rangers tho - maybe the old debt wasn't structured well enough - but rangers debt is just to keep the show on the road. yes I do believe there is a difference.... I'm quite happy paying off my mortgage but running up a massive overdraft by going out every night is different...

It is speculating, but based on the facts that there are people I know that stay away as they don't like Pittodrie.
It can be a very cold damp place to watch a midweek winter game.

Hence my speculation about "new" fans.

Do you deny there will not at least be an initial interest in going to a new stadium?
Whats important is making sure there is enough to keep them going.

    I fully agree.
Some people would rather rent though and blow the budget every month / year.
    Maybe its a generation thing.

They don't go because they don't like Pittodrie as I its cold and damp in midweek in winter

My question to them is, why the f@ck did they choose to "support" (and I use that word loosely) the Dons? Im sure they were all born after Pittodrie was opened. How can that be an excuse as its a stadium right next to the f@cking North Sea . What the f@ck do did they really expect. I wasn't there back then but im f@cking positive it always been a cold and damp place, midweek in winter. If that's their attitude we are better off without them

Do they expect the weather to turn tropical at the other end of the Lang Stracht.

    Precious c@nts
