We didn't think much of Coutts until Wilder sprinkled the magic dust on him. Give him a few games...

He’ll have to till January so let’s give the kid a chance and get behind him.

Shocking tackle but as its not the premiership unlikely to be trial by television and retrospective action. Same player tried to do Westwood when the Pigs played them.

We needed to strengthen in January for situations like this. I would prefer Basham in midfield but he's covering RWB at the moment. Lundstram will have to step up now for the next few weeks but don't see him as a replacement for the rest of the season. Great result overshadowed by the injury but we move on. All Blades if they can should make an effort to get down on Tuesday night to sing Coutts name.

I’ve just seen it on the highlights and although it’s a bad tackle I don’t think it was intentional. A really late tackle but it was a case of Coutts being caught in the follow through whilst having a shot. On another day it would have been studs down the shin and a sore leg for a few days.

I really want Lundstram to smash the role he will probably get the chance to take over. I have huge reservations, and before anyone posts the "In Wilder we trust" mantra,he got it wrong with Hussey. Maybe Lundstram will show the calmness, passing, ball retention, decision making and speed of thought and action needed to fill Coutts boots. I really want to eat humble pie,but won't be shocked if the JTW sees a cash splash to secure a quality Coutts type. The good thing is Lundstram will get his chance and he will get huge support from an amazingly tight knit group of players and fans. Step up mate.
