He wasn't specifically, he was there to watch English players, just so happens we started with six of them.

    Fixed, nothing more nothing less.
Three games. Three 90 minute decisions in favour of Arsenal. Referees should be made to watch this!

However if you look at an identical push on Barnes at 3 mins you might feel we were shafted. Mason was nowhere near he’s over on the left 35 yards out
The ref should always be on the opposite side of the box to the liner, so Mason was correctly placed for both incidents. The trick is, if you're going to push someone in the box, do it on the liner's side, the ref is more likely to have his view obstructed, and the liner less likely to give it as he'll be looking for offside.

Not a lot but Ramsey, Welbeck, Wilshere played. Not many English players on the pitch at Huddersfield and Southampton is a long way to go from Yorkshire on a Sunday

Sinkov Will bow to your expertise
But what’s a liner, was the QE2 there? Suppose a bow is appropriate in the context.

Moeen Ali was robbed by a cheating liner - see the line is drawn wider near the centre of the crease on the pic here.

Moeen was unfortunate, however, he was not cheated because the line was the same for the whole match and he was in his second innings on that pitch!
