Well after todays disgrace, which i found in an Irish bar and watched with two al mannies fae Westhill i was hoping for a good game. Turns oot it was men v boys.

Sparta Prague 3 v 0 Mlada Boleslav

Easy pickings really. Friday i saw the best save, saturday i saw a f@cking howitzer and tonight a flukey [email protected] went up 1-0 through an over hit cross from maybe 45 yards that hit the bar, post then keeper and went in. Bizarre goal but im sure Sparta would have won regardless.

Stadium empty again but i dont care. I have the scarf and photos. Nae trouble but a couple firecrackers thrown. Tomas Rosiky came on. Second final pay day Czechs ive seen after Milan Baros for Banik on Friday.

yes we played servette years ago. qualifier for EC maybe, but lost the tie. i may be havering. edit, googled, we beat them in the 2nd round european cup. knocked out by IFK in 1/4 final, now i mind that one. Jonny Ekstrom.

Remember getting all excited about a Sunday Mail exclusive after those games, when their player, Austrian international striker Walter Schachner came out and said he'd love to sign for us. Really wanted it to happen as he was a top player at the time.
