Probably not but if he'd done the correct thing and batted at least folk couldn't say it was another poor captaincy decison by him and mek no mistake the skipper's battin as poorly as anyone else.The sooner he gives up the captaincy the better cos it seems to me it's havin an adverse effecton his battin.If it was Cooky who'd put em in to bat or took Jimmy&Broady off in't last test you wudda slaughtered him(rightly so) and yet tha won't criticise Our Joe it just meks look a double eyed git mi owd pal.UTCB

As for wanting all and sundry to castigate the most high profile Blade in sport when anyone even hinting that the Blades' kit man's granddaughter's eldest dog might not be a TB then maybe the stats as outlined by Michael Atherton might be more considered

Well after suffering most of the mornin I enjoyed the last hour an half,they could have been 6 or 7 down with a bit of luck how warner lasted so long was a mystery,this games gone but the aussies were on the rack last thing and were relieved to get off,Lyon took some stick for his time wasting after saying our lot had no bottle

As for the decision to bowl I dint agree wi it but plenty have defended him and said his bowlers let him down which actually is fair comment,smith dropped one today not making us follow on but it won't cost him the game

Re wood our Geoffrey said it would be wrong to bring him in after such a long injury lay off and expect him to perform at this level,I bow to his superior knowledge and accept it wouldn't have been right to pick him

England need a good innings 2moz as much as owt for their confidence for the rest of the series and non more so than our Joe.UTCB
