    he failed miserably

and proved he is a dinosaur

    he has had his time

would you call in rafa to get a team out of trouble
    nope

rafa is ok when he has a team on the up generally

but do chelsea miss him nope
    do liverpool miss him nope
    would we miss him
    nope

i really havent seen anything from Rafa that tells me he is world class

are our players better now that when he took over
    nope
are we in a better position
    nope

i really dont get the love in for rafa
some people get so desperate and would cling on to anything

me in the position we are in would prefer sam

would i want sam long term
    nope
    would i want rafa
    nope

do i think rafa will get us out the mess he has created
    nope

but i dont think we will go down for no other erason that the likes of westham palace and swansea have managers slighty worse than rafa

we only hear what some people don't want.

people who are never happy unless they are twisting their tits off!

we are exactly where we hoped to be before the season started as most of us expected worse.

with that in mind, Rafa, whether you like him or not, is doing ok.

True. To criticise is the easiest thing in the world to do (after all anything at all can be made better). Making positive, suggestions is another matter and a lot more difficult. As my boss says; don´t bring me problems, bring me solutions.

i know... in my view rafa is better than anyone we have had in last 10 years under ashley (I'm not including kk in that though - even though his last tenure didn't go well, he is still a legend to me - but even he hasn't achieved as much as rafa yet) and i cannot think of anyone at all who would come here and do a better job - and still look and sound honest, keeping us informed as it is , not as how ash and co would like us to know.

Maybe some UNKNOWN would do a brilliant job - who knows - any unknown is just as likely to do a crap job. 50 / 50 gamble.

I can't suggest a replacement for Rafa but that doesn't mean, I think, that he should be immune from the criticism that any manager would get after the run of results we've had. Chris Hughton got us promoted first time of asking and was sacked in favour of a 'manager with more experience' ( Pardew ). Enough said. Replacing Rafa would be a big gamble. He's right to compare the cost of our squad with that of Man U or Chelsea but we've also been beaten by Huddersfield, Watford and Bournemouth. But if we're in the bottom 3 by mid January, which is quite possible especially if we don't spend enough in the Jan transfer window, I can see Ashley pushing the panic button and getting someone else. I say Ashley because I'd be surprised if he wasn't still the owner then.

Rafa is covering his own arse whilst also making it all about him. Cake and eat it both ways.

He's liable to walk in January if he doesn't get what he wants and he'll cite being lied to or not getting what he was promised.
He's almost lost this entire squad as far s I'm concerned.
It wouldn't surprise me if the players want a change.

If I had my way I'd get rid of him now whilst there's still a chance of getting the best out of what we've got, because Rafa certainly isn't.
    He's on a sickening contract, he's almost a mercenary.

anyother manager shipping 2-3 goals a game would get slated

if it was pardew people would be shouting the players have been pardewed
    no plan b etc etc
so please dont have a go at me when the vast majority on here were saying those very same things about pardew etc

i wasnt impressed wit the footy in the fizzy afetr such a massive spend

and i certainly aint impressed with him these last 5-6 games

    he has lost the plot

he wants shelvey then doesnt play him
he wants murphy an doesnt play him
he plays one up front then changes to two

we score a goal to go one up and he doesnt do anything aboutt tigthtening us up

he doesnt know what goalie to play
he hhasnt sorted the left back out

    he wont play mistertrick

    he plays diame

    he has lost it
he hasntt worked out a system a formation or a plan

a world class manager would have us playing in some kind of system

    burnley stick to their plan
    brighton the same
and so do nearly every club in the prem bournemouth play their way

if you looked at our side you would think rafa had just walked in and was trying to find his best 11

the players know the best side and look bewildered with his selections etc
do you honestly feel anyof them sit there before a game and go "oh great "diame in the middle we are so solid there thenn
    nope
