I'd say pboro's posts are a mixture of everything.
They appear to me to be designed to create debate and fun and controversy, as well as his own personal thoughts on life in general and his own.
He holds very little back.
I enjoy his input but then again I enjoy most people's input. It's just that pboro stands out in a more varying way which some like (me) and some tolerate and some dislike at times.

Take away posters like pboro and you take away a lot of the forum banter regularity, in all forms.
This forum has many decent posters and some will dislike others.

You could very easily argue your points with pboro without having a pop at him and I'm certain he'll respond in kind. But don't expect him to respond in kind if you don't afford him the same.

Also if you're genuinely intent on ignoring him then do it in terms of what ignore means and not because a button works or not or a quote appears with his name on it.

You don't have ignore buttons in physical day to day life, so if you're avoiding a person, you do so and be done with it.


Try and get along with people and stop being a nasty git. Have some fun and chill out.

Well for a start count what proportion of his posts are to wind up or to intimidate and then consider how many posts have been aimed a denigrating the North and Geordies in particular. If any of us had retaliated and had digs at Greek Cypriots there would have been a whingeing uproar from him. He loves giving it out but is a bit of a liar and crybaby when getting it back.

I don't approve of anything. I enjoy his posts whether he's correct or incorrect. I enjoy most posts, even the one's that have the odd dig at me.

This isn't about me approving anything of pboro's it's about you telling all and sundry about ignoring him and mentioning (with others of course) about ignoring him.
You place topic up having a dig after you supposedly ignore him and make out that someone else was quoting him so you can't comfortably ignore him.

I don't dislike you or anything but you are instigating by goading then attempting to use third parties to somehow back up your stance on why you are doing it.
