We created enough chances against Swansea to have won the match fairly easily...a new forward line and a right back this window should see us ok this season....but get 'em early in the window no more last day bollox...down to the slow coaches in the back room again.

I thought Pulis going was right but did say - be careful what you wish for! Many on the board and at the ground said football was even more dire with the best squad ever at West Brom this year. So for all those comments - consider we finished 10th last year, and we have a better squad this year - confidence should be at a high with any new manager so over to you Pardew - tick tock

No excuses Pardew and yes you need time to bring across your ideas etc etc. But on the other hand, we still finished 10th last year and even those who wanted Pulis out - said we had a better squad this year!!!! So what are you going to do Alan to get these points?

You and a thousand others used the dire, boring, unambitious statement " Be careful what you wish for". There was also many on here and at the ground who questioned the signing of Barry, the constant search for centrehalves and defensive midfielders at the time. Lets make a list of the rubbish signed by Pulis that the next manager (in this case Pardew) has been left to work with. Livermore, HRK, Rondon, McClean, Nyom, Burke, Rodriguez, The pole, every one of them useless. I'll tell you what i'll give you a glass hammer then blame you for not knocking nails in with it.

Livermore plays for England, so whilst he's inconsistent for us, you can't say he's rubbish as for what we paid for him, no doubt we would get double now - rightly or wrongly! Rodriguez was decent for Saints but injury prone so lets see if Pardew can get the best out of him. Give Burke a chance........... Nyom started well and cost peanuts. McClean has been one of the best players when he's come on and what he lacks in talent, he makes up by working his socks off. HRK was only ever meant to be cover and cost peanuts. Rondon started off well so again if we were to say it's the fault of Pulis, then perhaps a better manager may get the best out of him.

So now look at Darren Fletcher a free - went because our Board did not match his salary. Evans cost 6 million and our best player and most likely will go for 20 million. Gibbs is a decent signing and will get better. Brunt last year played his best football for many years. Phillips is decent when fit and what we paid for him, no doubt we would get double now. Barry still decent whether he fits in the jigsaw or not. Chadli was really decent before he got injured so if Pardew is any good, he should get the best out of him again.

In summary - bet the players who came in would make more profit if they left us even taking into account the dud ones which have not worked out as happens with every club. You could say Berahino got his opportunity under Pulis before his head got too big.

Don't get me wrong - Pulis needed to go but we finished 10th last year and almost every comment was/is - we have the best squad ever so Pulis needs to go. So on the basis last year we finished 10th with a poor last third - surely with a better squad now with 2/3 of the season to go - why should we not be aiming for at least 10th!

Don't buy all this ****e about being left with crap etc etc. Pardew should get on with it but the players were woeful on Saturday!!!
