    What ambition?
If they borrow against Brooks transfer do you really think they'll give him more than buttons?
Wilder has already said his JTW incomings are at best Leonard and a few loanees.
You really don't understand how owning a football club works.
You avoided acknowledging how fundamentally different it is to ANY OTHER TYPE OF BUSINESS. Now is the time to go for it and if you really don't get that then you are actually part of the small minded village mentality that has meant SUFC has totally underachieved for over a century and will never change.
    Never mind.
There's no way we could possibly compete with such long standing football powerhouses like
    Bournemouth
    Watford
    Burnley
    Huddersfield
    WBA
    Palace
    SWANSEA FFS
    Stoke
    Southampton
    Leicester

Frankly you and all who think like you are a joke and should wander off and play bowls or support Northwich f u c king Victoria!

You wanted us to spend 'EVERY PENNY', and here we are setting up to do it before we've even sold the player. Fail to see how you couldn't be delighted. Onwards and upwards. We'll soon be past Swansea at this rate..!

I’d like to think that we’re just playing our cards close to our chest as part of a cunning plan so that other clubs don’t think we’ve got cash to burn.

    I’d think it but I don’t.

Why would we need to borrow against Brooks transfer monies? If we did sell we wouldn't be spending anywhere near what we'd get and in any event any transfer would likely be paid in instalments.

The only assets the football club has is the players and any cash balances.

Maybe the club is borrowing to fund the Kop improvements.

I said a few weeks ago that i was enjoyin watchin our team and no matter what the result have left BDBL wi a smile on mi face,i think i must be in the minority who think like this.I understand some feelin frustrated but to be slaggin the club over lack of ambition before the window's even opened is rather premature in my book but hey what's an owd thick, clappin, cap dothin, beer swillin, pie eatin TRUE BLADE know abart owt anyway? All we know is we've got an offer in for Leonard and are currently talking to Southend. If he turns up at the Club on 2 January then we know CW has been given funds to improve the team. If we're still p*ssing about arguing over £100k here and there at the end of the month then we know nothing has changed. I very much hope its the former.
Not really LST tufty has stated we've put our final bid in for him so if it's not accepted we will walk away,is it cos we won't pay more due to budget limitations or is it cos tufty thinks that's the max he's worth

My guess is the latter,it's not always the boards fault !
