Chelski will have a contract with Barnsley that Ugbo plays a (if fit) a certain amount of games thru his loan period if he dont then we prob pay a fine to chelski. i think it was kinda the same deal that we had when Fletcher and Kent was with us.

Good post that Nozzer , whats your view on bringing some of our own younger players getting more involvement in the first team set up ? Jared Byrd does get a place on the bench now and again, Jacob Brown and Adeyeyobe , need to be involved more , and each given some minutes games time , some good young lads of our own need to be given a chance , wether now is the right time probably not , when we get safe !!!! Maybe

I would rather see Adeyeyobo or Brown on the bench than Ugbo. Hecky has said that they could save us money in January, but we will never know unless they are given a chance. If Ugbo was our own player he would still be in the U18s
Jared Bird hasn't featured much for the first team, but when he has he hasn't done anything wrong. I would like him to be given a chance

Think Hecky could have experimented more in the second half of last season with our younger players , we were never going to go down so was the perfect opportunity.

That's a good point Ponte , i mentioned this before about him having experienced players around him , how would he cope ? I'm not sure he could handle the been there Dunnet Pro just now , maybe wrong here , but it does appear at times as if he is stuck in his ways , and doesn't like being challenged , He had a problem with Hammill after the Newcastle game , IMO he treated him poorly , Hammil deserved to be reprimanded , it went on too long tho and I don't think that problem has ever been resolved , same with a few more players too , i've said it before and I will keep on saying it , Hecky needs an experienced Pro to help him out , Missed the boat with Neil Redfearn in my opinion ,

Acido is making a valid point and giving valid reasons for his points as are Jules and myself. I'd quote but this post would last forever. I do agree and like everything they've posted on this thread.
The issues raised both about results this year, Hecky and the lack of productivity in the academy to the extent that Ugbo gets a game echo my sentiments exactly.

Dont waste your time Ponty mate trying to explain it to them because they simply wont listen. And dont worry, I sure as heck wont change the way I post either. Interesting times ahead on here then eh ?.

I think the two talked about us briefly, but also sensibly on Ch5 and yes we have got to put all of our efforts into staying up now, for the short term. The so called millions wont happen overnight, and I dont think we will spend much at all to be honest in January.
Will we stay up eh this season ?.... well the heart and the head both agree right now and say NO!. Current averages suggest we'll make about 45 points at best this season, so somethings have got to improve obviously.

Don't know why as a mod tha dunt create thi own sticky at the top of the board and you can then hissy fit in the coming months to your hearts content unchallenged .
