Hardy Pick at Sheffield, ( a Hungry Horse pub )
    7 Broadfield Close
    Sheffield
    S8 0XN Tel No. 0114 258 2040

Been in many times, & I live at Swinton, sign up to Hungry Horse pubs, get £10 off vouchers, on a birthday free drink, plus they give you a card at the Hardy Pick, which they stamp every time I bought a real ale beer, five stamps on card a free pint.
    Always had good food.

Tried Riverside ( Hungry Horse pub ), near NYS but didn't rate it.
Like I said sign up before going, then you will get offers.

We went to my favourite Indian restaurant night before last.

Indigo on Jókai Utca which by way of recommendation for you this weekend isn't particularly helpful, as it's in Budapest.

Worth considering if you're ever over here though.

You tried the glass house in Swinton (a flaming grill pub) foods better than hungry horse and it’s cheaper too. It’s at side of that small Asda near old dearne valley collage. Good if your on a budget

Glass House is in Wath, there have been a lot of complaints on the food, we went in a party of 14 people in December, found food dearer & not very good, one real ale on, which tasted cr*p.
Friends of ours went Christmas day for lunch with their family, not impressed.

Cheers gents for some great selections. From the list I think I'm going to try brins recommendation the Italian in effingham street.

The one hotun recommended The Three Acres Inn and Restaurant Emley will try that one for sure as Mrs birthday in April though would make a weekend of it n stay over. Just had a quick look and do some nice food with a very good junior suite that I would like to stay in...

Went to seven seas a few week ago for Xmas do. Your right peri. Very good ...

Forgot about the travelers at birdwell. I've not been though I have had very good reviews from family members.

All the others recommended look very nice places. Not sure the Mrs would appreciate the oisoi or wasabibisari.. she hates sushi and noodles have to be just... Infact let's not go there. Let me be kind and say, she's a bit funny.,.
