That 4 nowt were a reight match

I thought the two Andy's Rammell & Liddell was quite an under rated and sadly under used partnership up front for us Pass, because we also had the other Andy, Payton who was so frustrating at times. Wasnt that 4-0 win against Sunderland our 7th win in 9 games at that time, and relegation looked to be no problem at all anymore.

I thought the two Andy's Rammell & Liddell was quite an under rated and sadly under used partnership up front for us Pass, because we also had the other Andy, Payton who was so frustrating at times. Wasnt that 4-0 win against Sunderland our 7th win in 9 games at that time, and relegation looked to be no problem at all anymore.

Our form nosedived after that Sunderland game and We only just ended up staying up. I liked lidds, a classy footballer who was underrated for me. Rammel was strong and a handful. On his day unplayable but he was too inconsistent for me. As a partnership it's a no from me. Liddle wasn't an out and out goalscorer and was more suited to the craig hignett role behind the strikers making late and intelligent runs.

I've not been int loft yet Kendray , but found 2 tapes in a shoe box i thort contained some shoes or trainers , Barnsley v Bradford 2005 and Luton v Barnsley 2005 on one tape , the other just says Barnsley matches ? Auf weidesehen first series is on another if you want that ? I'm sure i will be in touch soon , Caernarfon v Reds Cup tie on one i know of up theer , mi son at back at goals wi a Reds flag , he wo abart 10 ?

Here's a little story you might enjoy from back in the late 70's / early 80's .


At that time we all stood on the old ponty , same spot every week , a father and older teenage son also stood in the vicinity and we started to see them at away games and so we'd say hey up and what have you as you do .

Suddenly we started noticing one attending without the other , one week the dad was there but not the son and next week it would be the other way round .

As this went on we all started wondering what was going on but didn't like asking , naturally .

Anyway one evening coming back from some away game I dropped on the lad at Leicester Forest Services having a pyss .

" aye you mate , where's ya dad today ? " all innocent like .

" we take it in turns nar and it his turn next week "

" oh right , money tight mate " I replied

" no not really , we've only one pair of shoes so we can't go together nar and we do alternate games "

" oh right " I replied

" yeh its his fault for nackering his up but he waint buy a new pair cos he says I did it and I aint having it so that's that "

After a while we never saw them again and I haven't to this day .

I can only presume the remaining pair got nackered and neither of em could attend ever again .
