Completely agree. I think the whole concept of a MOTM award in a team sport is a bit silly anyway, but who the heck wants their attention diverted from the game with about 10 minutes to go.

whatever we say about Billy's overall performance, at the end of the day he won the match for us. He made a great run, drew the tackle and took a perfect penalty - in a tight game that's was the difference between the teams.
He had no decent service and our style of playing yesterday of lumping the ball up to Donaldson really didn't help him. All the previous chances had fallen to Donaldson and I was confident if he got a sniff he would not waste the opportunity - which he didn't.
