    Only stepping down, he is still the majority shareholder. So not cause for full celebrations yet

    Is he deserting a sinking ship, or is there something more to come and hopefully good news re a takeover

    Good news he is stepping down as chairman no doubt, but while he is majority shareholder no celebrations yet.
    If it means a new owner is forthcoming fantastic news.

    If it's true that Mike Martin is buying/has bought Justine Mitchell shares it suggests that Martin sees no imminent financial collapse, so maybe the sinking ship theory doesn't hold water (no pun intended) People will maybe now speculate that these two things could be connected. Plus the other rumours going round. As you say he's still got 51%, maybe he's about to sell some shares?
