6 games after Chelsea will make/break our season

We have lost all the must wins so far under Pards

    Swansea, Stoke, Southampton

The 6 games we have after Chelsea we must win 4 at least - Huddersfied, Watford, Leicester, Bournemouth, Burnley, Swansea

I am not sure we will, I really hope we can

To me it feels like we have a bit of a too good to go down attitude, which was there under Pulis

Whereas teams like Swansea and fighting and grinding out results

We won the Brighton one, but under pr!kdew I cannot see it getting better.

Some people are blaming injuries for the saints win,but they forget they also had Austin, Gabbiadini and Davis out.

The squad is underperforming and one man is to blame, pr!kdew.

Only one person to blame and that is the arsehole that is Pulis, Alex Ferguson couldn't get this shower of bottlers to perform.

I think the issues go much deeper IMO. Yes, Pulis should have gone well before he did but I think this day was always coming tbh. It was obvious that without key players we just are not up to it. I broke the habit of a lifetime and left well before the final whistle as I found it depressing to watch as we were never going to win that game. The one game they really had to win and on the day it was, we were found wanting.

Truth is, we've stayed in this league but we've cut corners, tried to do everything on a small time budget. How many transfers have fell through at the last minute? How many players have we been outbid by newly promoted clubs and so on? I think the overall attitude of the club by doing things on the cheap and appointing inferior people to key positions has been our undoing and it just happens to be this season. The new owner said at the time he took over that he planned to continue running the club on a prudent basis. This day has been coming for a long time IMO. We've tried to stay in the division as our main ambition meanwhile clubs around us have not stood still so we are where we are.

Why after the Chelsea game? Bournemouth beat them 3-0 at Stamford Bridge so we've got to have a go at them too. It's absolutely wrong to go into a game with no aspiration of winning it.

It looks like we're going down, but I can't blame the board or Pardew.

I think Pardew got his tactics wrong on Saturday, but generally speaking it has been an improvement on Pulis.

The board, in my opinion, have got the last two transfer windows right.

The reason we're going down is our inability to hold onto a lead (18 points given away from winning positions this season) and because we've not been good enough against the teams around us. We've lost every big game this season against side near to us.

Pulis has to take a large portion of blame and so do the players. If by any miracle we get out of this then great, but I think the likelihood is we'll be in the championship next season.

Okay, let me rephrase, we haven't won against any side near to us this season. Perhaps except for Brighton at home

Agreed and it really pains me that we've thrown away so many points from winning positions too. To expand upon your rephrasing if Brighton (who are currently seven points ahead of us) are classed as a team in and around us then so must West Ham, Stoke, Southampton, Newcastle, Swansea, Huddersfield City and Palace.

Adding balance, from those teams only Southampton achieved the double over us as we drew games against West Ham and Stoke. Further to this we are yet to fulfill return fixtures with Newcastle and Palace against whom we also drew, plus Huddersfield and Swansea meaning that they 'could' all yet lose to us .

Despite injuries I feel Pardew could and should have responded with greater urgency and effect versus Southampton, but despite the fact we're clearly running out of fixtures it's not over yet. Heads up and COYB .
