I am a fundraiser for a childrens charity that provides nursing respite care for life limited and life threatened children - the James Hopkins Trust.

Burnley FC has very kindly donated a signed Burnley 2017/2018 first team shirt to us to help with our fundraising.

I wondered if this would be the right outlet in which to sell it please.

I hope that you can help.

    Many thanks,
    Ria

Great to hear the club helping you on this.
My personal opinion for what it’s worth.

CM is not usually for that purpose though there was a similar sale last year. It’s difficult when a new poster comes on, as it could be a scam.
If you want a stated price then why not try asking for it on here with the first reply to offer that the winner, however if you want to have an auction then probably not unless you quote a deadline for offers.

Ultimately People will have to decide if they trust you so the more we know about your bona fides within the charity and details of the actual charity the better.

You could post it on eBay and put the link on here.
Though eBay will take 10% of the sale price and postage and PayPal another 4% or so.

    Good luck.

Bless you thank you for your reply. I'm so sorry I'm so vague - I have never been on here before - I'm friend with Nigel Adderley who's a commentator on the radio and he mentioned putting it onto this site. The shirt has come to us via the booking agents for Burnley FC I have been informed who work alongside the Qhotel chain who are supporters of ours.
I'm happy to accept £100 for the shirt plus postage - would that be a reasonable fee to ask?

Patrick came on last summer with a signed and framed Burnley shirt which looked great in the photo's (see link) which I was lucky to purchase, but I have not seen it yet as BT is holding it for me.

That's great - Thank you for your help. I've not had ours framed as I thought it would be too costly to post for the buyer.

We have been offered and accepted a fair price for the shirt and it is now sold.
