Thread: Burnley injury update

Stephen Ward should be back playing at the week-end.The best of the Irish contingent IMO.

Ward has been excellent for us and I have nothing but positive things to say about his attitude and commitment but I think Brady is the best skill wise of our Irish contingent.

Kevin Long is going up fast in my estimation too. He has been really excellent in the last couple of games and I cannot see anyone better in the Eire national set-up.

Suspect Taylor will get the job Saturday - Sean seems to stick with last weeks players who have done well. Sean’s take.

The only thing against Taylor is he hasn’t been on the winning side yet.

I think, because of Taylor's excellent performances, Ward has been the player we've missed least of all. The fact that he hasn't been on the winning side is irrelevant imo, that's hardly been his fault, and he's been part of a back four that's been rock solid against a whole succession of the best teams in the league.
