Indeed, close Bon Accord,Caledonian and chuck in East End, The Pitt and the Beastie(again).....amongst a few other places that we have frequented over the years......it all makes sense in a financial/personal sense.

Just discussing this yesterday with colleagues, 19 league games a season, bung in 2 maybe 3 euro games with big crowds. and a puccly league cup/Scottish cup home ties you're looking at say 25 home games in a year. All the businesses you mentioned above will feel it, so will castlegate pubs, and a fair few in the city centre.

I got a freebie. The reason East End Juniors invited their youth teams to watch so i nipped along wi my cousin whos loon plays. The ran oot of pies so they probablly deep fried them for quicker cooking

Well, Westhill has the key west bar at the shopping centre (Tim owner), the Holiday Inn West, the shepherds rest bar as part of the Travelodge, also a ne w Hampton Hotel. All within a 5min taxi of the ground. They are also all on the regular bus routes from westhill to town that run every 15mins at the weekends. Plenty of places to have a drink in westhill then walk or drive to the match.

Excellent news, just my kind of place for a pint...a bar in a shopping centre, a Travel Lodge, a Hampton, and a Holiday Inn. Who wants a slow meandering bar hop down Union Street and into King Street with those other terrific options?

The club will have an onsite bar, there is a hotel with bar at the primefour site a 15 minute walk away.

Just under 2 miles is not a 15 minute walk.

Apparently not.

AFC's consultants have said the total lost spending for all city centre businesses as a result the move will be "at the lower end of £0.51m to £1.78m per year".

A laughably low estimate of £25-40k per game.
