The Leeds board is a bit strange. They want immediate results and don't tolerate bad runs.
Leeds are in a 7 game winless run which has seen them go from the play-offs, into a top mid-table position and the Leeds board deemed they didn’t have confidence in Christiansen to turn their fortunes around and so have now appointed Heckingbottom from Barnsley to help get them back into the play-offs and try and earn promotion this season.

This is a common denominator with foreign ambitious owners these days they want quick results and if they don’t get it you are gone.

Heckingbottom might struggle to get Leeds back into the play-offs this campaign and so they will have to wait until next season to see how they fare but as you know that’s not always the case and he could be sacked at the end of this season if he fails to get Leeds back into the play-offs.

He might be one of our own etc, but thats the problem as well because he was taking us down this season and it was getting harder to support him. Put it this way, we might have a better chance of staying up now hes gone and Leeds wont put up with the appalling run of results we've had to endure for the past year.

    Not too disappointed then Acido?
Think you’re our final match of the season.
Genuinely hope we don’t have a scenario where we have to send you down for us to go up but it’s not looking that unlikely at the moment.
Yarkshire seems a bit of a manager’s graveyard this season.

    Staying up? Barnsley, trolol.
Anyway fret not Acidface. You'll enjoy the visits down south next year to Pompey and Plymouth. A bit of sea air, is good for an old fart like you.
Heck, you've even got Southend as a bonus. And you can relax in Blackpool as well.
    All good for your health.

Heckingbottom worked tirelessly on Transfer Deadline Day with co-chairman’s Chien Lee & Paul Conway to bring in his preferred targets and even signed a contract extension, only to move to Leeds Utd after his £500,000 release clause was met in the new contract he signed to take over at a club that has been through as many managers than any other club in England across all divisions madness.

With Barnsley lingering just above the relegation zone it leaves the club in a predicament, you now have a caretaker in charge who is Paul Harsley to try and lift the spirits up and stear you away from trouble until the club finds a manger who fits the bill to replace Heckingbottom astonishing it really is.

With the club in complete limbo you would of expected them to get a manager in within 24hrs of Heckingbottom leaving for Leeds Utd to give you a better chance of staying up this season, but they given you the caretaker option to bide them some time it doesn’t look good for Barnsley but hopefully you stay up this season Acido because the bottom three have let in more goals, and are far worse off then your club so it’s not all that bad.

No Im not too disappointed Anag, I think he was taking us down and he might have jumped before the inevitable push happened.
Who will we appoint now, well thats anybodys guess but we are still hoping that there will be 3 or 4 teams worse than us at the end.

Trust me, you'd prefer going down. All those visits to seaside towns and resorts....

Apologies for Romanis...he’s a Forest fan...gets a bit carried away when he sees another side in trouble.
    Hope you stay up.
