I think we're going to cause an upset somewhere and get 3 points against someone nobody gives us a chance against.

You see, Jammy, I can see other teams doing that-look at Swansea vs Liverpool or Arsenal, Bournemouth and Watford against Chelsea-and I'm sure there are others....but I look at our team and the way we're set up and i genuinely can't see us doing that.

Which is why i think we will

It's a bizarre style of logic, i fully admit.

I think we'll hit someone on the break and then camp in our half and it'll be one of those games were nothing goes in.

I think we will get at least one point on sunday..
Don't know why trying to rationally assess our chances is such a daft idea. Of course there are variables, it's football ffs. I don't actually have a crystal ball, I'm just trying to aim at a realistic gathering of points for the remainder of the season and I wanted to hear what everybody else thinks. It's going to be tight, that's for sure.

    Man Utd (H) - 0 points
    Bournemouth (A) - 0 to 1 points
    Liverpool (A) - 0 points
    Southampton (H) - 3 points
    Tottenham (A) - 0 points
    Huddersfield (H) - 3 points
    Leicester (A) - 0 to 1 points
    Arsenal (A) - 0 points
    Everton (A) - 0 to 1 points
    West Brom (H) - 3 points
    Watford (A) - 0 to 1 points
    Chelsea (A) - 0 points

TOTAL: between 9 - 13 points would be my best, most precise guess. Not a very solid point gathering that.
    Man Utd (H) - 3 points
    Bournemouth (A) - 3 points
    Liverpool (A) - 0 points
    Southampton (H) - 3 points
    Tottenham (A) - 1 point
    Huddersfield (H) - 3 points
    Leicester (A) - 3 points
    Arsenal (A) - 0 points
    Everton (A) - 1 point
    West Brom (H) - 3 points
    Watford (A) - 3 points
    Chelsea (A) - 0 points

Total: 23 points to finish on a respectable 48 points and 13th place.

This scenario is more than possible and I'm basing it entirely on Benitez setting us out to have a go for 90 plus minutes. Not playing the cautious game and the bus parking game he's been employing.
    .................................................. ............................................

This is the scenario if Rafa carries on doing what he's been doing.

    Man Utd (H) - 0 points
    Bournemouth (A) - 0 points
    Liverpool (A) - 0 points
    Southampton (H) - 0 points
    Tottenham (A) - 0 points
    Huddersfield (H) - 3 points
    Leicester (A) - 3 points
    Arsenal (A) - 0 points
    Everton (A) - 0 points
    West Brom (H) - 3 points
    Watford (A) - 1 point
    Chelsea (A) - 0 points

Total: 10 points and a season finish on 35 points which will see us relegated second from bottom with 17th place being good enough on 37 points, leaving goal difference as a pointless waste of time and the most times, dire football and over caution, pointless and soul destroying.

Trying to assess our chances aren't a daft idea, trying to predict a a twelve game acca is...
Try doing a seven game one on Strurday over the top two divisions and see what happens...

Oh and on second thoughts put a pund on,cos it will probs come up.Not being funny but I find the footballing gods to be the most, awkward of all..

    I haven't said we haven't.

I think that at one point against someone we're not expected to beat that we'll go ahead again and this time stay ahead.

Despite them using our goal as target practise etc.
